It was clearly about Albert Einstein although not a lot of people seemed to be aware of the fact. It was a great song for a video, and one of my favorite on this particular album, the other’s being “Nobody Home”, “Closet Chronicles”, and “Dust In The Wind”.

Point of Know Return was HUGE in 1978! I remember listening to it over and over and over…loved the many instrumental breaks and solos.

The video is just layers and layers of masked images and masked video. Tried for some really cool effects and found some pretty neat ones…‘specially fond of that tree recoil effect from the atom bomb at that cool little note drag!

Anyway, as usual…I hope you find something to enjoy.

[Lyrics]
He had a thousand ideas, you might have heard his name.
He lived alone with his vision.
Not looking for fortune or fame.
Never said too much to speak of.
He was off on another plane.
The words that he said were a mystery.
Nobody’s sure he was sane.

But he knew, he knew more than me or you.

The invasion that Russia has wrongfully started in Ukraine has led to more people talking about the threat of Nuclear war and World War 3. How does the Doomsday Clock relate to all this?

Since 2020, the Doomsday Clock has been set to 100 seconds to midnight. Which is the closest its ever been to midnight in its 75 years of existence. As the scientists who set the clock put it: we’re “at doom’s doorstep.”

The Doomsday Clock is a metaphor to remind humans how close we are to destroying our planet through the technology we develop, with midnight representing the apocalypse. It’s a symbol to remind us to address these dangers so that we can survive on our planet. It was created by the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, an organization founded by scientists at the University of Chicago who worked on the Manhattan Project, which was America’s effort to develop atomic weapons during the Cold War.

When the Doomsday Clock debuted in 1947, its creator, artist Martyl Langsdorf, set it to 7 minutes to midnight. She was married to a physicist who worked on the Manhattan Project. When she heard him and other scientists talk about the consequences of developing this dangerous technology, she created the clock to show that we didn’t have much time left to get atomic weapons under control.

We might all starve.

Researchers from Rutgers University calculated the possible effects of nuclear wars. The result shows that a nuclear war between countries such as Russia and USA could kill billions and cause starvation within two years.

It also demonstrates that large deficits would arise in imports due to the depletion of crops.

Every human being is afraid of nuclear war beyond any doubt. Researchers went into overdrive to see what would happen when a nuclear war broke out, dangerous enough to bring the end of humanity as well as all life on Earth.

More than 5 billion people would die of hunger following a full-scale nuclear war between the U.S. and Russia, according to a global study led by Rutgers climate scientists that estimates post-conflict crop production.

“The data tell us one thing: We must prevent a nuclear war from ever happening,” said Alan Robock, a Distinguished Professor of Climate Science in the Department of Environmental Sciences at Rutgers-New Brunswick and co-author of the study. Lili Xia, an assistant research professor in the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences, is lead author of the study published in the journal Nature Food .

The Ukraine army had a few satellite images to share.

A Russian airbase in Crimea was recently attacked Russia initially downplayed the attack It has now been revealed that at least 7 aircraft were destroyed, and significant damage to the base also inflicted.

Recently released satellite photographs show as many as 7 warplanes were destroyed at a Russian airfield in Crimea on Tuesday. While the precise details of the operation remain unknown, Ukraine’s air force shared a triumphant picture of the downed aircraft on July 11th, 2022, on its Twitter account.

Russia has insisted that the damage was accidental and that nothing substantial was lost, but photography from several sources refutes this. At least three structures at the Saki naval airbase in Crimea, the peninsula Russia seized from Ukraine in 2014, looked to have been damaged, in addition to the aircraft.

With the ongoing and deadly Russian and Ukraine war, the world continues to hold its breath as death tolls, building, communities, and relationships are shattered. The Russian invasion has been nothing short of devastation with Russian forces inflicting so much pain. The trickle down effects are not just with the two battling countries involved, but it has also created a domino effect on world powers like the United States. There have been fears that with the slowing progress of the Russian front, that they may instigate everyone’s worst nightmare: a nuclear bomb attack. Russia has stated before that any country that will assist Ukraine “will feel powers like never before.

US shocked: china tests MOST DANGEROUS military weapon.

China’s FOBS can go around the planet at hypersonic speeds to wipe out entire cities — and the United States is very worried. FOBS stands for Fractional Orbital Bombardment System — a weapon that goes into orbit and deorbits at the right time to deal maximum damage to targets, making even the most advanced missile-defense systems almost useless. This is no casual, baseless project. The US Military has reason to believe the FOBS was designed to be used against them and they’re not about to be silent about it. In this video, we shed light on this punch-for-punch dangerous arms race going on between two of the world’s most powerful nations.

Over the past few decades, computers have seen dramatic progress in processing power; however, even the most advanced computers are relatively rudimentary in comparison with the complexities and capabilities of the human brain.

Researchers at the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command’s Army Research Laboratory say this may be changing as they endeavor to design computers inspired by the human brain’s neural structure.

As part of a collaboration with Lehigh University, Army researchers have identified a design strategy for the development of neuromorphic materials.

I heard they changed it to 80085.

Some say that truth is often stranger than fiction. According to a 2004 memo by Dr. Bruce Blair, a former Minuteman missile launch control officer, the U.S. Strategic Air Command (SAC) once intentionally set the launch codes at all Minuteman nuclear missile silos in the U.S. to a series of eight zeroes.

SAC’s goal was to minimize the time it would take to launch a retaliatory nuclear missile strike against the Soviet Union in the event of World War III breaking out. After all, forcing young Air Force officers to dial in launch codes of eight random numbers would just waste good nukin’ time.
